Festival of Friends
Hey Rockers
I know that it has been a long time since I have had any contact with everyone. It is a shitty excuse but because of my renovations at home, I have had no internet. I am currently at my neighbours borrowing theirs.
Anyway, as most of you are probably aware, that most of the Festival of Friends weekend was rained out. It was a total bummer for all of us (in the band) that were really excited about playing. We has worked really hard to show the hammer how KMB can really really rock hard. There is however a positive that will come out of this. I will be able to let you in on some exciting news in the next few days regarding a show that will not dissapoint, and let the KMB rock out the original show. I promise that it will be a night to remember and once again the good times will roll.
For all those that did come out and bear the weather, i am sorry that the we couldn't make the night more enjoyable.
To my bandmates, thanks for all your hard work, it won't go in vane.
On another note: The Thursday nights at Montana's are stupid amounts of fun! Bring out the family from 8-10 on the patio at the Montana's in the Meadowlands near Silvercity.
I will let you in on the gig in the next few weeks
cheers

Doogies
hey Rockers
First of all I owe a huge apology to a few really nice folks. Dave and Karen who drove up from Burlington to Guelph and got a hotel room with the intentions of having a blow out, only to find out that we were double booked and had the night off. as well, to John and Melissa who drove down from Penetang (2.5 hours away) onnly to find out that we were not rocking. there are others! Can you imagine taking your new girl on the bus to go see a band only to find out the band wasn't playing. that happened too!
I would like to thank Doogie as a man of integrity who after finding out we drove up from the Hammer he insisted that we drink and eat... and we did!
Sorry to anyone else who may have made the treck out to see us and unfortunately we did not rock.
we were excited about rocking as we had our old friend Mr. Steve Sinnicks rocking out on the drums with us.
Our schedule is updated and I hope that there are no more mistakes.
thanks to everyone for their time and patience.
cheers

I'm just posting this note to thank Geoff Hoover and Stacey Platz for being amazing hosts at their Stag and Doe. Over 350 people attended! It's obvious to me that Geoff and Stacey are rich in friends and family. It was a great night and a good time had by all. The Mighty K.M.B is excited about playing for their wedding in June. As a side note, I'll be playing solo shows in Guelph this Fri, May.09th at the Albion Hotel with a full band and this Saturday night at the Coach And Lantern Pub in Ancaster, that one will be a solo acoustic show. Hope to see you there! Ti'l next time, R.C.
